The Indonesian rupiah (IDR) is the official currency of Indonesia. It is abbreviated as “Rp” and is subdivided into 100 sen. The value of the rupiah fluctuates frequently against other major currencies and is influenced by a variety of economic and political factors. As of my knowledge cutoff date (September 2021), the exchange rate was approximately 1 USD = 14,500 IDR, but this could have changed significantly since then due to various factors such as inflation, trade policies, and political events.
